New Nissan Leaf ? Better than previous one ?

Should I buy one of the new 2018 Nissan Leafs ? A totally revamped model ? Or am I just as well off paying a bit less to get a 1 or 2 year old Nissan Leaf from the old model ?

It's a bit too early to say. The new one hasn't been properly launched on the UK market and so the independent testers haven't had a look. The new one is also likely to have a 'new car premium' until later in the year and deals probably won't appear until then.

A lot depends on how you would use the car. The main feature of the new model is an increased range between charges; whether that matters to you depends on what you propose to do. For example, if the main use is a commute of 5 miles each way plus a couple of miles to the shops twice a week, an increased range isn't going to make much difference.

Doesn't the new one have a bigger battery ? So it can go further ?
