I would like one like this for DS but looked everywhere in town today and the only place that had anything like them were Mothercare but a) I really can't bring myself to buy anything from there b)it was a vomit-inducing Winnie the Pooh one.

Tried Boots, Woolworths,Superdrug, local nursery shop but no joy. Only problem if I buy on-line is the P&P bumps up the price (P&P is £5.99 at Kiddicare!!)unless theres anywhere that does free/cheap postage??

TIA

Thanks for the link - the Kandoo one looks OK.

I went to Tesco actually but probably not a big enough store as I didn't see any there.

I'll see if they do free collection from store at our nearest one.

Where are you Betty? I have an unused one going spare (and free) if you want it.

I'm in Worcestershire NoNickname (whats the betting you're in Dundee or somewhere )

South London - any good?

NoNickname · 24/04/2007 14:23

I know I'm not exactly round the corner from you! I meant, do you know anyone nearby who might be able to collect it for you.

BettySpaghetti · 24/04/2007 14:24

Is it one with handles? (DS doesn't like the non-handled one we've got as he doesn't feel safe)

If so (and if you're willing to post it) how much do you want for it including P&P ?

X'd posts -no nobody around there unfortunately

Yes, it has handles. It's the same as the Kiddicare one that you linked to - but it looks a different colour to your photo - the seat is white and the outside is blue.

You can have it for free (assuming the postage isn't an arm and a leg). Can you CAT? I can't, but have been meaning to sort it out for ages, so will do now anyway.

NoNickname · 24/04/2007 14:35

I've CATed you with my email address Betty.

BettySpaghetti · 24/04/2007 14:36

That would be fantastic NoNickname!

I can't CAT - were you going to set it up anyway, if not I'll put up an email address. It seems mad that it will cost you the price of registering for CATs to give me a toilet seat for postage!

I've got to shoot off now -DS has woken up so I need to get him up, do the school run and go to a 2 yr olds birthday tea .

I'll be around this evening though so let me know how I can pay you (Paypal? cheque? PO?) and if you have set up CAT etc.

Thanks again

No - don't worry - you can seriously have it for free (I will pay postage). It's sitting in ds's cupboard doing nothing (bought it for a holiday last year, and tried to get him to use it but he wouldn't). Am happy it will go to a good home; am happy to have contributed to MN's fighting fund against SWMNBN; am happy to get some space back in ds's cupboard. I was going to Freecycle it soon anyway.

Thanks - have sent you an email

Just a word of warning, BS - we have one of those seats with handles and it doesn't always stay still on the toilet (it works fine if you plonk them on the seat but if they try and get up themselves they can dislodge it).

Hi HD! Thanks for the tip.

How are you all doing? Been meaning to email you for general chat but we've had a few internet problems so had no connection for a couple of weeks. Went away to Belgium for second week of easter hols too.
