VW Sharan 1.4 (2017)

Hi,

Looking to buy an mpv... Vw Sharan 1.4 (2017).

Just wondering if anyone bought it and does struggle when its fully loaded with people or camping stuff with 2 adult and 2 children.

On the test drive i wasn't allowed to load it up...

Why MPV?

Get a 4x4 and something Korean/Japanese. Kia Sportage. More versatile than that POS VW. Hyundai Santa Fe too.

That 1.4 would struggle when loaded.

Having had both- VW sharan and a Japanese 4x4, I think i’d choose the sharan despite the smaller engine if you’ll be frequently loaded up. For handling etc i’d Go 4x4. I have a Japanese one because I’m quite small and rattled round in the Sharan drivers seat! However, test drive the sharan again and try parking a few times, it is deceptively wide.
