We have a hp photo printer and have been printing our own photos but i find it a real hassle lining up each photo in order to get it to fit to eg 5x7 paper.
Is it far better to go to a company to do this? Do they align it? Where is a good place to go?

we just had a load done at www.photobox.co.uk. It was quite cheap - can't remember how much, but really not expensive. We paid for a set number and we have 12 months to use them up.

We have a cannon MPC200 and I find it really easy to print photos using a program called Easy Photo print which came with the printer. Its a real doddle, just put the paper in and away you go. It prints edge to edge and I dont have to worry about alingment.

if you print 50 at boots they are 10p each.

If I want to print a few photos at a time I just upload photos back onto my camera, and take the memory card into Jessops or Boots to have them developed. They have always come back really good.

The trouble with printing them yourself is:

  1. they tend to fade after a while as it's not proper photographics paper
  2. the ink ends up costing more thatn the 10p a time to get proper prints from Boots (or Tesco also doing 50 for £5 at the moment).

Another vote for Photobox - good company, fairly good price, can have as many or as few photos done as you like.

Jessops are brilliant, I upload them online. I've used photobox too & wasn't nearly as impressed wtih the quality AND they messed the order up (fixed it straight away though).

Hiya..

I have used Klick but much prefer Ofoto

The photo's are fantastic quality, the site is easy to use and private apart from when you invite friends and family.
The photo's are a really reasonable price too!
