childs bike seat - reccomendations anyone?

I am trying to find a bike seat for a toddler of age 2 to 3. Halfords din't have anything whe I tried earlier today. Can any of you mumsnetters recommend one please??? (trying to get fit.....)

Depends where you live!
I use a trailer which kids love but very hard work up hills...(Sleeps 2)
Have been told a seat is easier uphill...

Just been on the web and seen one for £99.99 and another for £79.99 - was hoping to get one around the £50 mark!

May get one 2nd hand on ebay.

Got our bike seat from Toys R Us & just checked on their website & its now half price £20 !! (I'd do a link but it probably wouldn't work !)

Its lasted a while - the only thing you have to ensure is that you secure the foot straps properly as a friend of mines child got his foot caught - thankfully not too serious but a nasty scrape
