I have been trying to get Ds some new slippers but am having trouble finding some that fit. He has quite wide, but little chubby feet, and normal slippers just aren't wide enough, and are a bit too hard i feel for slippers.

I'd liike to get him sone of those little leather ones but so far have only found them up to age 18mths.

He is 19mths.

I have the same problem with DS and Clarks seems the only place where they cater for his needs (a G width), and they also do some beautiful shoes.

Are they soft though Chandra ??
Was really looking for something which will really let his toes spread out and be comfy IYKWIM.

I would let him go barefoot or just in his socks, but we have no flooring in most rooms at the mo.

It depends in the model and the walking level of your child, but in general I have found them much softer than any other shoes I have seen elsewhere. The nice thing is that they pride themselves in having them perfectly fit (with enough space for toes to move but not too big so they could cause blisters, if your child have different foot widths they will give you one of each).

My ds has wide feet and I got him a pair of slippers in Clarks - best thing to do is to try some and see how they fit. Otherwise, how about slipper socks? I'm not sure if they would be robust enough though.

i went to matalan the other day and got some slipper sox and they were cotton but had rubber around toe area and around heel but very soft

I was about to suggest Robeez - I'm going to order some for my dd as she's getting quite mobile!

Ollipops - got all of ours from them in their discounted section. They go up to 18-24, and have another section for child - adult sizes (but more expensive and limited styles).

Starchild go up to age 3-4. They have a really wide choice of designs (has made it really hard to choose which ones to get) and because they package them tissue wrapped in cute little boxes, they make great presents.

Might be a bit late for you now Nutcracker but for anyone else who wants to know they are gorgeous shoes for little uns!

Thanks for posting that link, NottsMum, I have added to my favorites and will order some for winter I think, as I have tried proper slippers before but they just end up being taken off.
