HELP ME - what the hell is going on with my Dyson?!?

I can't take the nozzle off to empty it ! I've hurt my thumb trying to get it off Shock

Is it this button on the total clean to get the nozzle off ??

Can you push it back on so the button clicks up and try again? Or is it completely stuck either way. I do find it quite hard sometimes to get the nozzle off my Dyson but it's never got stuck before.
