Tips on how to fold and unfold a Bugaboo

Hi all

I took delivery of my Bugaboo yesterday and am finding it really difficult to use. I can just about collapse it, but can't seem to find the knack of getting it back up.

Does anyone have any tips for me - or am I destined to have a nervous breakdown?

took a while to get confident with mine (gecko but presume they are pretty much the same as the cameleon?) but easy after practice! i hold with the handles upright and wheels down- get the 2 little round leverie things and pull them upwards at the same time and as your doing this lift the whole frame up quickly so as the wheels swing underneath they clear the floor and don't hit it - the frame shpould have clicked into place outstretched- then with one hand on the handle bar I reach down to bar between the small wheels and pull hard so that the 2 sets of wheels seperate! sounds confusing! hope i don't make it more difficult for you!

That's a pretty good explanation Joanna9.
Pinkjenny, it's just a question of pracice I think. When my DD was born my husband was home for a few weeks and I had a cs so he kept doing it for me. The night before he went back to work I made him teach me how to do it and practiced for a bit, now it is easy. The little slidey things on the sides that you use to fold and unfold the frame do get looser, so it gets a lot easier after a bit.
