...Don't like anyway up - too hard to suck, bad for teeth

...don't like avent magic spouts. Loved them 6 years ago, but the modern ones may have non-spill spouts but they bloody leak (pour water) from around the spout and ring thing.

Please tell me what I should buy when I go to Tescos/town in a couple of hours

Currently favouring the Tomy version - any comments? ANy others I should look at?

what age are we looking at?

We really like Boots own cups at the moment, they have 3 different stages to choose from.

Jessica has a cup with a sports type top on and Rebecca has a soft spout with 3 holes but she still has to suck to get water out.

We love them, and they work for us but just a suggestion!

1 year.

And I think I meant to say the Tommee tippee one...

Tesco's own are good,

We use use avent sports cup, they are a bit big though (age 12month+), they dont leek and are great n long journeys as they hold more drink.

I have tried loads and they all leak
Tommee Tippee First Cup are our current choice

SlightlyMadSecret · 21/04/2007 08:30

this is the one I am thinking about . Sounds similar to the boots.

Oh we had a good one from pound land (a mr men one i think)

TheBlonde · 21/04/2007 08:36

SMS - they leaked a lot for me eg if accidentally left lying on side etc
Kid has to bite down to get liquid out which is a bit weird

JARM · 21/04/2007 08:36

very similar to the boots one, but we had the tommee tippy one with handles and they BITE the spout to make them leak!

Still, very good cups though, just buy extra tops for them (are sold in 2's)
