Golden Wedding Anniversary - any gift ideas?

Hello
It is my parents' golden wedding anniversay next month and of course we would like to get them something golden.

Have a budget of up to £100, they are not big on jewellery or very showy things but have interests in aviation, books, roman history and coronation street (well that's just my mum, she tells me all the plot lines and I am not in the least interested)

Any ideas gratefully recieved

How about a little gold picture frame with your dd in ? (Sorry, don't know if you have more kids but remember you have a dd from way back pics)

It was my in-laws' golden wedding a couple of years back and we got a family portrait photo done (whole family, ie, in-laws plus all their children and grandchildren) for them. You could do this and put it in a gold frame? (Other family members can buy copies of photo so good all round!)

you lot are very quick by the way.

Well we had the family potrtrait thing done a couple of years back and quite frankly there isn't time to organise it (did I ever mention that we were moving to Australia in 4 weeks, I may have spoken of it once or twice)

We are taking them out for a slap up lunch as well. They are on to a good thing with this anniversay lark.

Surely they haf-ve gols memorabilia(sp???) if your mam is a big fan!

I have a 3 year old dd yes, and another on the way!
(She's in the garden with daddy and i'm hiding)
