Or can I just attach my crappy old parasol? (Ask you lot rather than hunting it out of the attic...

moondog · 20/04/2007 19:39

oh cos they look cool, like you're wheeling a dalek around the streets. better still if you have the panniers, as i have. people throw themselves out of your path.

also it does protect them from the sun really well. I mean really well.

moondog · 20/04/2007 19:45

Funny,I would but have promised job lot to an MNer in a few months.
Sorry bout that.

Fillyjonk · 20/04/2007 19:48

i might have one actually, but only for single configuration

amidaiwish · 20/04/2007 19:52

parasol will be fine...

funnypeculiar · 20/04/2007 20:52

lol filly - me & dh had exactly that conversation briefly yesterday (hence thread) ..
him:
you only want one so you look hard
me:
umm, no, I'm just concerned about our dc's welfare. Honest, guv.

I just think one of those noncy parasols (& lets face it, they're all noncy) will bring my P&T down, iykwim

Actually, a single might be fine - ds is 3 and really isn't in there much anymore .... how much do you want for it filly?

amidaiwish - am ignoring you because you agree with dh

I got one last week for my two as all my children are pale and pasty..lol I was a bit dubious about it when I saw it online but I actually quite like it and DD1 isnt bothered by it which I thought she would be. Am glad I got one now.

Nemo2007 · 20/04/2007 20:56

parasols are fine but a PITA to readjust were they point if you have a very young tot in.

clairemow · 20/04/2007 20:56

I've got one, but usually forget to take it anywhere sunny. Thought I might use it while the DSs slept in the buggy, but a jumper or cardigan does just as well. Spent £30 on it, and probably used it twice at a guess.

Fillyjonk · 20/04/2007 20:56

oh lol agree re the lowering the tone.

you've just spent £££ on a classy pushchair, gwan then a put a frilly parasol on it why don't you

let me know if you want the cover and i will try my absolute best to find it and we can sort out a price.

TheBlonde · 21/04/2007 06:15

Nemo - if you have a newborn in the bottom of the P&T does the sunshade protect them too?

Nemo2007 · 21/04/2007 10:35

theblonde I have a double cover so it definelty protects them both completely. I think the single does protect if in new baby and toddler mode but not in 2 toddlers if I remember rightly.

TheBlonde · 21/04/2007 10:51

Thanks Nemo
