Good ride on toy/scoother thing for a 12mth old

For DS birthday we want to get him one of these as he hasn't got much outdoor play equipment. Any recommendations - he can stand (if holding on to cot/sofa) but isn't walking yet. I think he might want some support on the seat so he dosen't fall out and I'd preferably like it to last a summer or two until he get a proper trike/scooter etc Thanks

what about something like the stride to ride
It doesn't have support in the seat but it's low and his feet would probably touch the ground.
