thought that looked cheap if anyone is looking for a zapp

OP posts:
mosschops30 · 19/04/2007 14:32

hand up here i bought one for ds

buy it BUY IT buy it now or regret it later, you know youre gonna lie in bed tonight wishing you'd splashed only £75 on a brand new quinny plus free delivery ..... never look a gift horse in the mouth (as my bonkers mother would say)

go on all you hangers on, take the plunge

fryalot · 19/04/2007 14:33

I weighed up whether we could afford it on dp's lowly teachers wage, I weighed up whether on top of the car being mot'd and the new lawnmower I just bought we could really afford it, I weighed up whether we really, really need it.

Then I thought "what the hell" and bought it anyway

ViscountessPetitLapin · 19/04/2007 14:36

katierocket, it comes with adaptors. you take the fabric seat off, pop the adaptors on anf off you go. I really loved it in that form actually

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 14:37

lol squonk......Geeee it'll be soooooooooo easy spotting Mnetters now wont it???????

Lines of orange Quinny's in all the parks, toddler groups & supermarkets...

SlightlyMadSecret · 19/04/2007 14:41

Hey - could you get the Mile For Maude stuff printed on the side - just to be doubly sure???

katierocket · 19/04/2007 14:41

thanks lapin

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 14:46

good idea sms & hang a lemon drizzle cake bag on the side too...

fryalot · 19/04/2007 14:47

erm... slightlymadsecret..... hope you enjoyed your leaving party last night

GET ON WITH THE PRESENTATION!

quinny zapps with pink balloon motif - am liking it

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 14:47

LOL Lulabyloo, I was just thinking that. If you ever spot an orange Zapp you can give the mumsnet wink. Even better if you have a mumsnet tote bag hanging on the back, or even wearing an apron...

Still not bought one. Have lost the will to live with the darn trampoline. DS has woken and is shouting. I think DH would kill me if I do buy one.

fryalot · 19/04/2007 14:52

so, have been unable to go out for the last week due to the car being mot-d, now the car is back (hurray) I still can't go out because am waiting in for lawnmower and quinny zapp to be delivered.

I never spend this much money in rl!!!!

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 14:57

should i ....shouln't i????
will i......wont i????????

decisions....decisions......oooooh such brain ache........

dh will never speak to me again.....mind you....he did by the most hideous Mama's & Papa's Purple with yellow spots pram for ds when he was born for £250!!!!!!
Refused to use it....it's in the loft....can i blackmail him with that gross misuse of money??????????
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

fryalot · 19/04/2007 15:00

sell the purple and yellow spotted monstrosity on ebay, buy the quinny.

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 15:04

Squonk.............nobody but nobody would buy it.....heck i havn't even managed to give it away to any pg friends....most run away squealing in horror....one even said she'd rather use a wheelbarrow

Huh!!!!!

fryalot · 19/04/2007 15:10

your dh bought it.... advertise it on MANSNET or something... put in the blurb that women pretend to hate it, but secretly love it, some bloke will fall for it

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 15:11

Blimey Lullabyloo it really does sound hideous. Whatever was he thinking?

Trampoline now finished. DS has climed on without being prompted. Trouble is, there is no bounce... Really very little, less than his cot. I feel duped.

So... time is running out. My ONLY reason for not buying is that DH will kill me. Just a minor reason. I can buy it on his account (I have no money ), and he wont even notice as it will just come up as Boots.com and I can say it was nappies / wipes etc etc (lots).

Wish I could just have a look at one in the flesh to check the orangeness.

fryalot · 19/04/2007 15:28

oh buy it

tis not too orange, I think this is a fair representation of the colour

fryalot · 19/04/2007 15:28

isn't it gorgeous.....

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 15:30

lol Squonk...i do love you

BELE....dh thought it was 'different.....certainly is that!!!!!

i'm broke & dont have an income or a joint account so will have to go on hugely up to the hilt(thanks to my Father)credit card....Gulp

gingeme · 19/04/2007 15:38

Oh wish id seen this before weve just bought one from Toys R Us a blue one and it was £109. Mind you that was reduced £30.

Well worth it though

fryalot · 19/04/2007 15:52

just thought..... joanna9 - you getting commission?

you blardy well should be

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 15:56

Got no income either. Or joint account. Just saved DH's card details once and I use it now and again when I need to buy "necessities". Surely this is a necessity?

Oh god. Shall I just do it?

fryalot · 19/04/2007 15:57

I have no income, but I do have a joint account..... that he trusts me with

buy it
buy it

that was the devil on your right shoulder talking

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 16:02

I DID IT.

Would NEVER have bought one without this link. I can blame Joanna for the break up of my marriage etc...

Soooooooooooo excited.
