OP posts:
fryalot · 19/04/2007 13:42

It says that they are suitable up to age 4

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 13:44

oooooooooooooooooh thanks squonk....ds doesn't really use his much....but it's a mclaren my mother bought....navy & i hate it
I WANT ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!(sorry..)

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 13:45

VPL (tee hee, much better than just the usual LL). Not ELC one, got it in Woolies and am already wishing I had got ELC one as this one looks a bit tacky. It is very small.

It is not going v well at moment, as cant stay off computer. Lots of small parts and scary screws etc. Must get it done before DS awakens.

Nemo2007 · 19/04/2007 13:45

ohhh no thats a good point..mmm could I buy one on the pretence of it not taking up much room when camping...probably not

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 13:48

My McLaren is the bumpiest piece of sh**e imaginable. Crappy plastic wheels. Got used to nice inflatable wheels on Jané Slalom, but got fed up with punctures and very very heavy pushchair to get up steps etc.

So is Zapp less bumpy than McLaren Quest, does anyone know? I am an urban dweller but it seems that the people who pave the pavements like to do them as uneven as poss.

ViscountessPetitLapin · 19/04/2007 13:50

BELE - same with my Jane Powertrack. Mega comfy etc but weighs a ton.

Nemo - get a backpack. We've got a MacPac Vamoose, DH and DS love it.

Nemo2007 · 19/04/2007 13:52

littlelapin..its not that, more the issue of carrying both the girls...darn small age gaps whose idea was that

bonkerz · 19/04/2007 13:53

ok done it and will sell strollers. ANYWAY had a think and strollers no good for camping and my zooper wont fit with all camping stuff so was an esential buy really! Have also overdrawn an account i dont use and plan to pay £5 per week LMAO

MuffinMclay · 19/04/2007 13:55

Just ordered one (and lots of bicarbonate of soda too - it has been out of stock for months).

Thanks for the tip off!

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 14:00

Urgh, so now about 100 of you have bought one and I haven't. Keep checking and they still have stock. Waaaah. So VPL, do you have Powertrack and Zapp? Did you ever try a McLaren?

I am getting more and frustrated. I cant put my effing trampoline together (started off v smoothly, now instructions seem to changed to Russian).

ViscountessPetitLapin · 19/04/2007 14:02

Nope, bought the Jane in John Lewis for about half price (I wasn't even showing - too embarassing wheeling it out of the shop). And my mum bought the Quinny as a pressie (also on sale in JL!) Never had another buggy.

Everyone takes the mickey out of the Jane one because it looks like I have a personalised pushchair

mustrunmore · 19/04/2007 14:03

Bicarb? Never used it in my life!!
Anyone want to buy a blue jive off me now, used 5 times???

fryalot · 19/04/2007 14:04

so.... how many of us now have actually bought this?

BELE: Leave the trampoline for now, do it tomorrow, this is so much more important

bonkerz · 19/04/2007 14:07

just got to tell DH!!!!

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 14:09

Effing Effing trampoline. Got one leg on now.

I guess if I order the Zapp today, it wont arrive until next week, and DH will have forgotten about the new trampoline?

VPL, I used to work 2 mins from JL, and from when I was 6 weeks pregnant I would wander round fifth floor looking at cots / prams etc. They must have thought I was obsessed. I would occasionally nip into TopShop maternity for a change of scene.

Nemo2007 · 19/04/2007 14:13

sob I wanttt onee...

Nemo2007 · 19/04/2007 14:14

DH must have sensed the possibility of money being spent as hes just come home..pmsl.

Lullabyloo · 19/04/2007 14:20

still umming & ahhhhhing....i hate the boring navy mclaren sooooooooooooo much
is orange ok for a boy??????????????

katierocket · 19/04/2007 14:26

Does the cabriofix car seat just slot straight in or do you need adaptors?

fryalot · 19/04/2007 14:28

god lully, I hope so, I've bought mine for ds.

As far as I know, pink and lilac are a bit un-boyish, but every other colour should be ok surely?

BigEggLittleEgg · 19/04/2007 14:29

Think orange is poss better for a boy than a girl, as less pink likely to be worn. DS has a lot of red, does that look ok with orange flash?

I now have nine Zapps in my basket. Keep testing to make sure they still have stock.

Trampoline leg was actually trampoline handle. And upsidedown.

fryalot · 19/04/2007 14:30

pmsl BELE!!!!

Nine is a tad excessive, methinks

Nemo2007 · 19/04/2007 14:31

PMSL if you find one [or two] going spare shove them this way..lol
