Yep after my initial desire for Bugaboo, and the fact they were seemingly everywhere, I then thought they weren't "all that" after all. But my friends who have them can't fault them.

Was never sure about the Stokke. DH thinks they are great, and do like that baby is up high, but they look so WEIRD!

Ah but what I REEEEEALLY want is the new Buzz, with the new Maxi Cosi Isofix 0+ seat thing on it. That's if I ever have a MiniMiniEgg, and I'm not even boffing... .

ScottishMummy · 01/05/2007 14:41

Boffing = shagging where i am from so u boff away doll

saw a mum struggling with buzz to get on bus -had to come through back doors of bus and stand in aisle looked big and heavy

imo, stokke look weird, i wonder bout its stability centre of gravity being so high

mumto3girls · 01/05/2007 14:48

I love the look of the buzz but it won't go on buses very well....

MuffinMclay · 01/05/2007 14:50

I'm still enjoying mine. It was bought as a spare/second pushchair to fit in dh's tiny car boot. But I've dumped my normal pushchair in the garage and am using this one all the time.

It doesn't half attract a lot of smirks though, especially from men. And women keep stopping me and asking questions about it (they're probably MNers incognito, I reckon). Never happened with my other pushchair.

Dh took DS out in it at the weekend and said women kept smiling at him. It is fab because now he wants to take DS out all the time on his own.

ScottishMummy · 01/05/2007 14:52

LOL zapp-admiring-flossy

they get them out for any zapp owner those slags

LittleEgg · 01/05/2007 16:28

Strangely I remember looking seriously at the Buzz before I got my Slalom Pro, and was really keen because of the one-touch unfolding. I was trying to work out why I never bought it and now I remember it was super heavy. So why did I still buy a lead-weight pram anyway?

Muffin - thought you had deserted the Zapp Club! Glad yours is bringing you and DH so much pleasure! Gotta watch those floosies though .

I reiterate - Not EVEN boffing, so no boffing (in the Scottishmummy sense) is going on. Gets in the way of sleep.

FirstAtForty · 01/05/2007 16:43

Just nipped on here as I couldn't believe there were so many posts about a small orange pushchair - pramtastic!!!

Saw one the other day in town and wondered if it was being pushed by a mn'er.

Sadly I don't have one myself, think I'd be turfed out if I added to my current collection of 3 prams (though am selling one of them on ebay this weekend, in theory making room for a new one )

LittleEgg · 01/05/2007 17:23

I think anyone that happens upon this thread is slightly alarmed by the Zapp mania going on! Sounds like you are just waiting to be persuaded to get one then... Just wait til Squonk comes along, she'll soon talk you into it .

fryalot · 01/05/2007 18:18

I would like to point out, though, that this is not my thread I just appear to have gone a teensy bit over the top in my zapp appreciation.

Have had mine for 8 days now, and the enthusiasm has not started to wane...

Inrockuptible · 01/05/2007 18:20

We bought one and I tend to see at least three other people with them when we go out. Which of you lot is it?
I'm giving mine to a friend now as it doesn't recline enough for our needs.

Porcupine · 01/05/2007 18:20

this thread is ogin ononononononon

fryalot · 01/05/2007 18:21

I wish I had a friend who would give me a super duper pushchair

Inrockuptible · 01/05/2007 18:26

Well, she's giving me a fab dress she bought ages ago and has never managed to fit into in exchange so it's all fair.

LittleEgg · 01/05/2007 18:30

Inrockuptible, surely reading this thread makes you want to keep it anyway, despite it being useless for your purposes? A DRESS for a ZAPP??? Your friend must be rubbing her hands in glee .

fryalot · 01/05/2007 18:43

you see, I need dresses to go with the zapp. I can't be seen pushing such a fab pushchair with my old jeans and tee shirts on. I need to get dressed up before going for a walk.

I may even need to wear make up

Inrockuptible · 01/05/2007 19:01

I used the zapp twice and didn't get on with it, but my friend really wants it. She has a dress she's never worn that I have drooled obver many times so I feel I'm the lucky one in this bargain to be honest.

I love my Zapp...I'm taking it to Malta in 3 weeks and I'm wondering how I'll get on at the aiport and if they'll let us take it as hand luggage in it's bag...

bonkerz · 01/05/2007 19:36

Got bombarded today by 3 parents at toddler group who all said they had tried in vain to buy a zapp from BOOTS!!! Was thanking my lucky stars none of them had managed to get one when someone said they had got one on friday and would be happily pushing it around by tomorrow!!
