Could boots and the courier company get together and organise you one? Have the couriers said anything about it?

If you could get one of the Wednesday ones pre-ordered, it should arrive on Thursday or Friday..... that may be worth thinking about.

couriers are sying i have to file a complaint against driver BUT they cannot contact driver at all till he gets back to depot!!

Bonkerz - if you told them it was ok to leave stuff there, I would say it is probably your fault.... however, if they turn up unannounced, effectively two days early and just dump a box that may as well have neon lights saying come and steal me, I'm an uber expensive pushchair then that is their fault, not yours.

full stop.

just rang couriers who have said BOOTS still own this parcel as it is not with me and therefore BOOTS should do immediate refund or replace. Am now ringing BOOTS again to kick up a big stink. Am getting more and more angry.

am on hold with BOOTS. Feel like crying. They say it may be 2 weeks before i get refund. No more stock due in apparently as orange is now discontinued! Have said i shouldnt have to pay extra for a buggy as its not my fault. Am so angry i may have missed out on this due to a lazy courier!

well boots have said there is nothing they can do about a replacement and they cant upgrade to a different buggy!
They are going to see if they can email te from to sign stateing i dont have the item and then see if i can fax it back to them BUT it will still be 3 working days before i get a refund!
Am not happy but what else can i do?

Don't cry, bonkerz.... try and stay as calm as you can. Mention all the things that littlelapin said in her post, and tell them that it is their responsibility to ensure that you receive the goods.

Tell them that you totally understand that they don't have any in stock and you are more than happy to wait until Friday when they have had a chance to get some more and get one out to you. Or alternatively, you are happy to have a differently coloured one for the same price.

The orange Zapps are £119 on kiddicare. This includes a footmuff which retails at around £39 and which you can sell on via Ebay.

I don't think that Boots are legally bound to give you a more expensive buggy for the same price, unfortunately.

ok no go with emailing form so they wont get forms till friday at earliest. am now arguing about new buggy. Told them i dont want money back i want another buggy here by friday!

I dont suppose its Parcelforce that they are using?

I have had huge problems with them and Boots.
All I ordered was nappies and wipes from them.
In the end they gave me free next day delivery, refunded what I had already paid in postage, refunded half my order amount and gave me £40 on my advantage card.

Keep calling them Bonkerz!

I really don't think they are legally bound to offer you anything over and above a full refund. They don't have any of your oerdered item left so they can't replace it. Whether they send you a more expensive one as a replacement would be entirely down to goodwill.

new buggy being delievered THRUSDAY using a different courier! They have said it is a QUINNY ZAPP but no other details available!
