Don't go out on Thursday

Fimbo · 23/04/2007 13:46

It's crazy, the delivery driver is the person responsible, yet the Courier company are doing nothing - madness. I am cross for you Bonkerz.

Fimbo · 23/04/2007 13:47

Oops crossed posts!

Hopefully its sorted now then.

fryalot · 23/04/2007 13:48

"An exception to this is when goods or services are not available; the trader is required to inform you and reimburse any payment." which they did.

mumto3girls · 23/04/2007 13:50

bonkerz · 23/04/2007 13:55

phew. can relax again! Still bummed cos i could have done school run with my posh ZAPP!!!!!!! SQUONK...where are you then if its same courier?

MuffinMclay · 23/04/2007 14:01

Glad it has all been resolved now. I look forward to hearing what you get on Thursday.

I've taken mine out and about now. I think it would be very easy to spot MNers today (if I'm anything to go by) - looking baffled in the car park trying to work out how to put up and down this very bright orange contraption. I'd just got it up when a man walked by and gave me/it a knowing wink. I'm sure he must be the husband of an MNer. I didn't spot any other orange ones in town, but I was looking.

bonkerz · 23/04/2007 14:12

yeah lets hope it not the orange one cos i have visions of seeing loads every time i go into town and having to hide!

fryalot · 23/04/2007 14:16

bonkerz - forget what I said about it being the same courier - I misread your profile. Twasn't the same at all.

(well, I s'pose it could have been, but I wouldn't suggest it)

Am in Yorkshire btw

mustrunmore · 23/04/2007 19:00

Well, I had mine delivered today Opened it.. faulty... back in the post half an hour later The circle thing on the one side that you push in to unfold etc didnt pop outwhen it should IYSWIM, so when it was put up, it wasnt safe on that side. Oh well...

mumto3girls · 23/04/2007 19:01

My friends did that but when she folded it down and tried again it was fine..

DelGirl · 23/04/2007 19:13

have got mine, put it up, put dd in it, pushed it a round and now it's folded up in the bag. It is fab, and so light. But, is the frame supposed to be slightly moveable? The handles/top half aren't rigid, is that right or am I doing something wrong? It look a bit on the skew. Maybe I should try again Mt net bag fits well on the back too and barely noticeable and I should be able to put almost as much in it as the basket I had before, well maybe 2/3 but thats ok. Have yet to find out whether dd will sleep in it.

LittleEgg · 23/04/2007 19:16

Blimey lots has happened while I was out today. Bonkerz so glad you have got yours sorted and although it no doubt caused you undue stress it could be good if you get a different colour as they cost more anyway (unless you were desperate for orange "flash" ).

So just had an email saying mine has been dispatched, does than mean TOMORROW?

Squonk, very glad yours has brought you so much pleasure today . I have worked out I can hide mine in the boot of the car until I pluck up the courage to tell DH...

fryalot · 23/04/2007 19:18

tis a previously undiscovered benefit of the estate car's boot - plenty of hiding room so dp doesn't see new quinny through the windows!
