Oh dear. I had to have a quick look at www.thefreedictionary.com to be sure of the word OVOID. I was guessing it was something to do with me being an egg. I am so uneducated .

fryalot · 20/04/2007 13:42

although, haven't been able to get the points added..... she said "have you changed your name?" so I told her that I used to be nemo, and she said "and your address" where I started flapping a bit, luckily ds started having a bit of a whinge, so I said I would have to go and deal with him and would call back.

sorry nemo, numpty me forgot your extra 1000 points and unless I can figure out a way of actually being two people, and not knowing where one of them lives.....

LittleEgg · 20/04/2007 13:45

I love the word numpty.

I did wonder if it would be a prob as it was someone else's card, but if you are in the actual shops with a friend who is buying stuff, they dont mind if you use your card for your friend's stuff (IYSWIM), so thought it might be ok.

I guess maybe Nemo could call, and say she is buying it for a friend (ie: you), and therefore delivery is to you. Maybe?

ViscountessPetitLapin · 20/04/2007 13:46

LOL Squonk, guess you better give up those fantasies of joining MI6

fryalot · 20/04/2007 13:46

umm, yep... they turned me down

mustrunmore · 22/04/2007 19:58

mummydoc; I think I might be having second thoughts before its even been delivered! But even if you wanted it, you're not near me, are you? It wouldnt be worth payng postage on top?!

LittleEgg · 23/04/2007 07:36

Hehe, I am having second thoughts too. I really do want it, but keep thinking NO BASKET! I had a look on ebay and think I can maybe get more for it than I paid. If I sold on mumsnet i wouldn't want to rip anyone off. And trouble is, I want to open it up, play with it, see how it is, and then decide, but would be easier to sell if all still boxed up. Grrrr.

fryalot · 23/04/2007 07:38

well, I need it, so if you want to wait until I've played with mine for a bit, I can tell you whether it's any good.

You would get more for it on ebay if you've never even opened the box.

Nbg · 23/04/2007 07:40

LittleEgg, if you look on ebay, there are a few people that sell baskets for the Zapp. They arent massive but its something.

HTH

fryalot · 23/04/2007 07:41

baskets?

Does anyone know if there is a buggy board that fits it?

LittleEgg · 23/04/2007 07:46

Ah yes VPL mentioned she was bidding for one of those baskets. I saw them, and thought of getting one, but then thought I should wait until I know whether to keep the Zapp, before spending mooooooooore money. VPL, did you get one yet? I need to know if it holds a litre or two of milk without collapsing.

LittleEgg · 23/04/2007 08:26

Squonk - just thinking not sure a buggy board WILL fit on one as can't see where it would fasten. Anyone know?

fryalot · 23/04/2007 08:27

have had a quick look on ebay and there aren't any for sale, so I guess there isn't one. It was just a thought really, if I'm going to have the posh pushchair, I may as well go the whole hog and not have a small child complaining that she's tired! Won't fit in with my vision of yummy mummy with a quinny!!!!

Nbg · 23/04/2007 08:30

I dont see why a buggy board wouldnt fit.
I have a seat to go and that fit my old Quinny fine. It also had a ton of different fixings in to suit different sized frames.

Nbg · 23/04/2007 08:31

Here look. Theres 29

Nbg · 23/04/2007 08:34

This is what I have
Cant see why it wouldnt fit tbh.

DelGirl · 23/04/2007 08:34

I've bought a net stroller bag from tesco's. Someone said they don't show from the front which is a good things as it doesn't really go with the image does it . I'm having second thought too but it will be handy that it folds up so small,. I'm still going to use my old one too. I visited my sister yesterday who has moved to a 'farm' and it was very very dusty!

katzg · 23/04/2007 08:52

the baskets which go underneath from ebay are useless for carrying milk unless you buy 2 pinters and put one on each side.

fryalot · 23/04/2007 08:56

thanks, nbg - will keep an eye on that one

fryalot · 23/04/2007 08:58

MY QUINNY ZAPP IS HERE!!!!!

Nbg · 23/04/2007 09:06

Enjoy

fryalot · 23/04/2007 09:07

it's fab.

have put it up, put it down, put it up again, put a child in it, taken child out and put it down again.

Not sure I want to mess it up with children

LittleEgg · 23/04/2007 09:16

Oooooh so exciting. Like Christmas.

I have TWO of those net stroller bags. They are actually really handy and dont show all that much on my Slalom Pro or McLaren, but not so good for heavy things like milk.

Right, I am wanting my Zapp now. I am so fickle. Squonk, please report back after usage.

MuffinMclay · 23/04/2007 09:57

Mine is here too! I'm going to go and try it out with ds as soon as he wakes up.

It is very orange, isn't it.

LittleEgg · 23/04/2007 09:58

MINE HAS NOT EVEN BEEN DISPATCHED YET.
