that only doodles from clarks are any good and that EVERYTHING else rubs ds's feet.

bought a pair of sandals and low and behold his feet are sore in them and after running around a lot yesterday he wanted to take them off....(anyone is welcome to them btw, they are practicaly new and size 9)

so back to One Giant (amount of money) Step it is for sandals....

grrrrr...never again.

have you tried letting him wear his sandals with socks for a few weeks? I don't mean knee socks, trainer socks will do. This cured my ds as sandals used to rub him terribly. A couple of days/weeks in socks and sandals got his feet used to where the straps rubbed and 'hardened' the skin. HTH

oh will try that thanks!

i guess it doesn't matter if a 3 year old looks like a geography teacher???

sophable - take them back to teh shop. They are supposed to fit properly. If he hasn't had them long and they are rubbing then they aren't fit for the purpose

Take em back

I buy those little foot sock type things for DS to wear with sandals in white - I don't think they look too bad.

Are there any discout clarks by you? That helps with the cost a bit. We are lucky as my SF used to work for clarks so I get a third off. Sandals I have found ok to buy cheaply from elsewhere though previously. in fact was planning to look today! Try taking them back?
