Is it worth getting a buggy board and which one should I get

DS will be 28 months when our second arrives in a few months and is quite a good walker, though a bit too curious about everything we pass sometimes... We walk a lot, and take the bus too as we don't have a car and won't be able to use the bike for a while. I will probably use a sling for the little one quite a lot for the first 5 or so months. Is it still worth investing?

I've had a look at boards - the Lascal ones seem to be more than Obaby boards - are they really better. What about the Litaf seat 2 go? they look liek they might be a bit massive. Do you keep bumping your knees on the toddler? Is the toddler happy staring at your knees?

My Lascal was a godsend. We used it a lot, even with DS1 at 4 years old as we had a bit of a walk to school. I got it second hand from eBay. The only 'issue' might be if you have to dismantle a buggy to get it on a bus, for instance. I didn't find I was bashing myself on it but I do recall I had to lean forward a bit more than was really comfortable to reach the buggy's handles with DS1 on board!

And re a toddler staring at your knees, with my lascal buggy board, DS1 stood facing forwards, looking over the back of the buggy and holding on just below the adult handgrips.

Oh, thanks for answering. I've been asking around and had a lot of conflicting advice! worth knowing about needing to dismantle the board to get the buggy on the bus. That sounds like a PITA. I think I will go shopping on Ebay and see if I can get myself a bargin.
