I've been thinking about buying one of these for quite a while now. Does anyone have one and do you recommend it ? I don't have a big budget, so it'll have to be a mid-range model.

YES mine is great

It's this one

You can stuff whole fruit/veggies down the spout. It is incredibly easy to clean. I had a lesser juicer before - never again this one is the biz IMO.

Got it on the recommendation of my SIL who also raves about it

I've got the big Juice Lady one and you don't have to peel things before they go in. Unless the skin is harmful to health. Also large pulp collector.

Do your kids like the juices ? I was thinking it'd be a great idea for 2yr old DD, as well as me. It might also prove to be a hit with the coke-guzzling DSs !

Also can you recommend a good juice recipe book ?

nomdeplume - i was going to post the same question today. i tooo have talked to someone who has the anthony worral thompson one - he said its brilliant but you lose vitamins and enzymes because of the heat in the discs - he said in hindsight he would by the 'champion' juicer. he says its the 'king of juicers' in the juice world! as its a masticating juicer which presses/squeezes and chews the fruit and vegtables. the cheapest i can find is £205 so i'm waiting to see if anyone can come up with any other recommendations. i never knew it was so complicatedin the meantime i've bought an 'easy health juicer' which is a hand held one £25 new from ebay that does the same as the champion but you have to turn the lever yourself.
