hi i dont know what pro is like but i had jane energy last year and sold it.
its very much like maclaren techno, but its more padded, and the seat is apparently higher than normal stroller, generally good but i never liked maclaren type strollers. the raincover is a bit tatty, but quite bulky, and long, good for those 6f parents.
i have micralite now and very happy with it.

I bought mine about 3 weeks ago and i love it. It pushes more more smoothly than a Maclaren (doesn't seem to clatter as much) It does have fairly high handles though so not for short people. I'm 5'6 and it's fine btw. It also reclines totally flat, which is fab for the money, i think you have to get a fairly pricey Maclaren to do that.

I'm not a big fan of maclaren types either! Went into the shop to look at and get either the micralite or the mutsy spider sure that it would be one of those

But dd is only 9 months and she just slumped in the micralite and tha spider was quite heavy.

The woman then showed me some others and some (more chunky than the macs) looked ok.

I just wish they made a truely lightweight non mac style stroller that has some kind of recline

Any suggesdtions?

jANE energy looks like best option at the mo?

go for it, i think its better than maclaren and much lighter than maclaren too. they are made of aliminium, and also very padded and comfy dd used to sleep in it, and it lies flat, and also it was wide than most strollers, i had many mothers commented how good the energy were, they surprise how much room dd had in it when sleep. i oftren see toddlers squashed in small buggy.
