washable sofa cover...can't get it back on!!

it's from sofa workshop this one.
Washed it on cold cycle,air dried,and the main cover won't go back on.There is a zip at the back that is no where near getting zipped up.Imagine a size 18 trying to zip up a size 8 pair of jeans.
Anyone else had this problem? With the sofa cover not the jeans lol!

Hi, that happens with my sofa too. It doesn't have a zip though.

I can only put it on with dh help. He's stronger and can yank it into place better.

I think you'll need to get some help. Is that possible??

I've yanked and yanked and now an so knackered I need a lie down.Will wait until dh gets home and have another go,but tbh the zip sides are abouta foot apart at the bottom!
