Hello,
I am thinking of getting my 3 year old child an Amazon fire tablet . Does anyone have experience of using this product? What is the speed and response to click?
Looking forward to your views. I am also happy to look at better alternatives if recommended.

Both my ds7 and dss8 have the amazon fire tablets and we pay for access to amazon kids apps monthly £1.99 for 1 child or £4.99 for family access. Both love their tablets and my DS has had his since 3/4 and still going!

I think theyre really great for younger kids. They are fairly robust. My older kids dont like them as much as the apps are limited. Actually, Im using one now. I like it as I like to watch Prime.

I've bought several of my grandchildren Fire tablets from 3yo onwards. None of them have any problems using them, get a lot of use out of them and none have been broken yet. Rather than going for the Kids version I buy the basic 7 tablet and a silicone cover for about a tenner then add-on the £1.99 monthly kids subscription. Works out a lot cheaper than the "kids" package though you're not getting the insurance. Black Friday is next week so they should be discounted then.

Our younger two have the amazon fire kids tablets and they’re brilliant.

Dd has one, she's 7 and loves it.

Bought the kids version with the years free amazon kids. Came with a protective case, It's fantastic. Also had a no quibble two year warranty which we used when screen was smashed, a year later. The free Amazon kids was then included for another year so we have just been very lucky.

The original one I had to buy a memory card for as not enough storage for apps. The later model I think has a larger memory.

We bought from JL on Black Friday had a great deal.

Thank you for the insight everyone. I am convinced to go ahead with the purchase.

Hey.. Just saw your post now. My DD is 5 now and I got her a Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet, 7" Display and its really great. If you still haven't purchased one, maybe you could have look on this one too. My DD just loves it and what i love is that they are going to replace it if it breaks within the 2 year guarantee period. Wink

My sister asked me about this tab last week as she wanted to give it to her dd. I searched for some reviews and I think it's a decent one for kids i guess.
