quick poll pls - dishwasher Bosch or Smeg?

Both £239 - Bosch with 2 yr guarantee, Smeg with 5 yr

But Bosch is probably better machine?

which one should i buy - today - as we have no dishwasher and my hands are suffering!!!

We had a Smeg at work. The buttons were tiny and got jammed. YOu had to read the instruction manual to find out what the switches were for. Someone had to use a knife to switch the machine off. It kept going wrong and we were told that using it at work (small office c15 people) invalidated the guarantee. We abandoned it and bought an AEG - no problems. I would recommend AEG/Bosch/Siemens (Miele if you have the money).

we have a bosch dishwasher and have never had any problems with it, I would buy another definatly

we have a bosch. it cleans dishes and is easy to use. got it off freecycle, reckon it is about 5 years old. no probs.

We have a smeg dishwasher bought for looks rather than practicality ! Actually, it is fine mechanically (touch wood) but it doesn't seem very robust. On the other hand we bought a bosch washer dryer for practicality rather than looks and its great.

thank you everyone - you are saying what i was erring on I just wanted a bit of 'back-up' - I have ordered the bosch and will get it on wednesday Hooray - I think a longer guarantee is tempting but I would rather the machine is reliable in the first place!!

Bosch... got one after Christmas and its way better than any of the others I've had.
