Selling a car

Where is the best place to sell a car in London? Somewhere like Car Giant but they only take cars that are 5 years old or less and mine is 10 years old but in very good condition.

Just put an A4 sheet - an advert in it, for starters.

Auto trader?

Ooh, I was just going to post something similar!

I'm north of London, and quite averse to having to deal with randomers/handling large amounts of cash....

I did WeBuyAnyCar but it's so little, probably a grand, less than the car's worth....

I am trying Tootle this week so will see if anything comes of it and let you know.

Thank you Mustbedue. I’m trying Southern Car Buyers. Waiting for a quote.

Gumtree, eBay or local paper are a good start. I'd stay clear of car giant or webuyanycar as they'll just take there chunk.

eBay gumtree. Note in window. If you want rid quick and not bothered about getting best value webuyanycar but they will pay you the lowest trade.
