charlie & lola talking dolls

just wondering if anyone has had trouble getting hold of the charlie & lola set of talking, poseable dolls? I wanted some for my dd's birthday and looked on ebay where they are selling for about £25 and listed as rare/difficult to find etc. Anyway, found some in a toyshop when at the seaside and were £14.99. Are they really difficult to find? If anyone desperate for them I may be able to get some more.

Not sure if the ELC Charlie and Lola dolls were talking ones but apparently they were sold out straight away and have had to take them off their website to stop people trying to order them. Not sure how much of that is true but was told by staff in my local store.DD1 hasnt noticed them in the catalogue yet but may be calling on you when she does rosealbie!!

I didn't know ELC were selling them. The ones I got were in a Toymaster shop. There were only about 6 left but they had been there for a week as I only went in to get them today. Mentioned to the staff how much cheaper they were than elsewhere and they said how expensive they thought they were at £14.99 - had to agree actually! They are really cute though

I got them in Argos for £14.99.

sometimes Ebay can be a complete rip-off. This happened with a Matthew Williamson bag I had for Christmas from Debenhams. On Ebay they were being advertised as sold-out in every store yet my local Debenhams still had plenty!

argos still seem to have plenty - able to reserve in several stores around here.
