Hi! I've been thinking of buying an electric toothbrush for me 8 year old daughter. What are your opinions on them? Are they worth the higher price and is there a brand that you would recommend? Also do you have any ideas on motivating your child to brush properly and long enough? Thank you so much for your answers!!

We just use oral b ones. The brush makes a wee sound every 30 seconds and then a longer sound at the end of 2 minutes so you know you have brushed for long enough. I brush a quarter of my mouth each 30'seconds so the 30'second buzz lets you know to move to the next section

Electric ones are quite handy. You feel good once you brush with it bc the you are able to take off the bits of pieces in the cavities.

Just make sure it's electric not battery and get oral b. There's lots of toothbrushung apps to encourage brushing.
