Why cant i order clothes from Tesco?

I have seen the perfect cardigan in Tesco but they only had sizes 14+ in our local. The assistants were giving the old lines 'no we have everything out' and 'we have deliveries every day but dont know what we get'

I have looked at the website and doesnt look like you can order online

bloody typical, I spent all day looking for one on Monday and spent £15 on a nasty oone from H&M which isnt a patch on the tesco one

They did used to about 5 years ago, but I think they struggled with the admin side of things and then said it wasn't viable financially.

so if i post a link is anyone willing to look in their local tesco for me. I will happily send you the price plus postage

i would have thought it would be because an order system would be costly, so if they did have one you wouldn't get the clothes as cheap. also, by making it impossible to order you are persuaded to visit the store more often, therefore probably buying more from them.

They are just about to start a trial and are hoping to roll it out nationally by Xmas-not much help for you and your cardigan right now I am afraid.
