Is there a bed guard that will fit a cot bed?

Hi there,
We're just about to take the sides off of dd's (2.3) cotbed but she's a very active sleeper, the bed guard we were given seems to be very unstable and I don't think it's for use with such a bed. Her cotbed has a slatted base and looking at websites all the bed rails I can see say they're for use only with divan style beds. Is there anything out there I can look at or am I destined to fork out a small fortune on another bed?

I used a Tomy one with our slated cot bed for years. I just put a bit of ply board on the slatted bit where the rail went. Now we are using the same rail with a big slatted bed for dd (4). It's fine...i just made sure the bits of the rail are over the slats.

they should still work on slatted beds, just slide the base bit between the mattress and the slats.
look, this one even says 'suitable for slatted bases', so does this one.

Excellent, thank you Mrs.Badger! It all comes back to my totally awful inability to use a search engine doesn't it!
