Gymboree children's clothes - what is the sizing like?

Been looking at some sale items on the Gymboree website and was going to order, but I can't remember what the sizing is like. Anyone know how it measures up?

For example, DD is just turned 5yo. Some of her new clothes are age 6 - J Junior, Tiger Lily, Sainsburys, TU, etc. The Verbaudert age 5 is a bit on the small size. Pumpkin Patch age 5 fits good though.

So what size to buy?

My dd is 122cm tall and wears age 6 trousers - does that help any?

Hulababy · 09/04/2007 18:08

DD isn't as tall as that, so looks like age 5 should be fine then.

I love some of their stuff! Which range are you tempted by?

Hulababy · 09/04/2007 18:19

No particular range. Just seen a nice \link{http://s7ondemand1.scene7.com/is/image/Gymboree/140017340?$240x305$swim suit} and also some x305$here on there for DD. Still looking too!

I always found them very large (and ds is average size).

Really? Hadn't thought of tax bit. Have ordered from them in past - a year or so ago at least though and don't remember any tax. Might have fogotten though. Postage is $20 so have to work out total costs to make sure still worth it.

sweet choices, Hula!

My last parcel had no tax but I think it is a bit of a lottery.
