mamas and papas PRAMETTE HELP!

Bought this last week (pilko pramette). Am I being really stupid or should the shoulder straps come through a hole in the push chair seat IYKWIM? There doesn't seem to be a hole to thread the straps through? So is it still safe? Help!!!

Or do we need an insert?

If you have one and can help me it will be greatly appreciated!!

okay...can answer my own question...been on mamas and p web site, they say its a 'free roaming' 5 point harness and is safe.

It seems a bit wierd but there you go..thought we had a faulty pram. Did this confuse anyone else?!

Yes, they are different.
That was one of the things I liked about M&P, DS loved to sit 'forward'.
Now try to fit a footmuff to it!!

thats what i didnt like about m+p's dd3 found it too easy to escape. the pliko was fine because of the bumper bar.
