I have only just realised that both our adult and childrens' toothpaste contain sweeteners. Thanks, i can't believe i didn't realise this before

Can anyone recommend some alternatives please, and where to buy?

tom's of maine "silly strawberry".ds loves itcan get in most health food shops, i think. or waitrose.

Given you shouldn't swallow toothpaste I wouldn't worry about it TBH. If you are swallowing enough toothpaste to be worried about the sweeteners you are swalling far too much Fluoride and should be worrying more about that IMHO

RanToTheHills · 07/04/2007 08:41

well personally i think it all adds up and avoid where possible.

MintChocChippyMinton · 07/04/2007 08:44

i generally try to avoid sweeteners because they taste awful and are a bit 'dodgy' healthwise (sorry not feeling very articulate this morning ) Don't think much gets swallowed TBH, just would be happier not to be deliberately using the stuff twice a day. Will look for the Toms stuff, thanks RTTH. Anyone know any other brands?
