Any machanics? Need urgent advice

I need advice regarding my car. I sent my car to a friends garage for a new clutch and fly wheel, car came back making a awful noise and smelt hot. Car was taken back and now they are saying there's something else wrong with it ( nothing to do with the clutch ), the car was fine when I sent it in, no noise just a clutch that was starting to slip. My local garage had looked the car over a couple weeks before and there was nothing else wrong with it. My local garage was too busy to fit the clutch so I let a friend do it (they are apparently a machanic).

After the clutch was done the car was making an awful noise when I put my foot on the excelerator after changing gear, making a whizzing sound and vibrating through the floor. There was also a burning smell. I have been told that this is being caused by a faulty bush arm Hmm. They are lying? They had fitted a fixed flywheel to the car to cut costs, I was not asked if I would like a cheaper fly wheel and was willing to pay for the correct parts to be fitted.

There's no way the noises are caused by a bush arm?

Obviously they think I know nothing about cars and are trying to cover up the fact they have messed up?

I’m a pretty clued I amateur mechanic. What they are saying is that they have fitted a single mass flywheel rather than the original dual mass one. This is usually a tried and tested solution to bring the cost down but may lead to a little extra vibration. Sounds like something’s gone wrong. No idea what a faulty bush arm could be, that’s not common parlance as far as I’m aware. They could be talking about part of the clutch release mechanism. I suggest taking it to your regular mechanic for his opinion.
