Fiat Multiplas - baby in front?

Just done a search on MN for Multiplas and everyone seems to sing their praises - we test drove one a few weeks ago and thought it was great and are now looking for a second hand one to buy. We want our newborn to travel in the front with us - we'll get a Which best buy carseat and disable the airbags. Any reason why we shouldn't go down this route?

we did this, no problem. When ds was a bit older I could give him a drink while DH was driving, no need to stop . We oved our multipla, great driving position and very flexible.

Brilliant, thanks PandaG - that's what I was hoping. Really like the idea of all sitting together like that.
