Why are Smeg Cookers Awful

Just read the previous dishwasher thread. Lots of people are mentioning the terrible time they've had with their Smeg cookers.

Just bought one....what's wrong with them? Whichc model? Oh dear.

We have the freestanding double oven cooker cant remember model no but have only had it 3 years and had to replace the fan motor (think thats what it was called) and all the hob bits have discoloured and all the control emblems/displays have worn away through being cleaned. not what you expect for a cooker costing around £800/900 (cant remember what we paid). Just know I would never buy anything made by Smeg ever again. Sorry.
