Grrrrr - blimmin Vertbaudet!!

Ordered DS2 some boots from there a few weeks back, which couriers attempted to deliver while I was at work, but as I wasn't in, left a card saying they were returning them to Vertbaudet.
Phoned Vertbaudet right away & asked what I should do, and was told that they could send them back out to me once they reached them.
I have since received a letter saying the boots were out of stock & on phoning them was told, yes they were sent & returned to them, but someone else would have ordered them & they would have been sent out to them, because that's just what happens!
She said there was no more stock & that was that!
Probably shouldn't have phoned them today, as I am not in the best of moods, but I think this is a pretty poor show & I am feeling pretty cross with them!

Seems odd that something would go straight back to the suppliers if you were out, why wouldn't they take it back to a warehouse?

I thought that too! There was no contact number for couriers either.
They called in the morning while I was working.

I phoned Vertbaudet & they told me that the parcel would be returned to them.
I asked if they could send it out to me when it arrived & they said they could.
Woman today said that I shouldn't have been told that because that was not what happens!
