Ruined glasses?

Bit of a boring query, but...my dm has managed to wreck her posh glasses (the sort you drink out of) by putting them in the dishwasher. They've now gone all cloudy - is there anything you can buy that will remove the cloudiness?

No, unfortunately not that I@ve heard of

Citric acid, apparently - but I've never tried it myself.

But apart from the fact that you run a cycle in the dishwasher with it (and the glasses), I can't advise more eg how much, which cycle etc

My MIL says that if you buy steradent tablets and soak the glasses in those it works. Never tried it myself.
