Says it all really, I'd love to get a wooden one in white, but plain wood will do. I can't afford more then about £300 - am I being unrealistic?

I recently spent some time looking for a decent bed with hideaway. M&S at the time had some beds on offer but I just had a look and they are not as cheap as they were - they are worth a look though - they incl the mattresses - they have one in a choice of colours incl white but they are over £300. John Lewis have a nice one for £450.
Not sure of the quality but the link below has a one for £339
