Nintendo Wii - none in Argos or Woolworths: Is there a supply problem?

Does anyone know about this? I am thinking about getting one for dh for his birthday, but it's in two weeks' time.

I don't want to be left stuck.

Amazon haven't got them in stock. There are marketplace traders on Amazon, but offering them at very high prices.
