Boden - girl's skirt dress - poor quality 50p worth of skirt for £20

DD ordered the Boden skirt dress called Daffodil Funky Flower. It has straps so you can wear it as a skirt or dress.

It is the thinnest, shittiest cotton you have ever seen. Absolute rubbish and Johnnie Boden you should be ashamed of yourself selling this for £20.

I have bought beautiful lined cotton dresses from Matalan for £9.

DD loves the pattern so unfortunately it is not going back but I am starting to feel rather ripped off.

DS used to have their swim trunks but their quality has got much poorer too so won't be buying any more.

That is shocking!! I have always found the boden stuff good quality, but recently the tops seem to shrink quicker, the the swimwear is pants!

Having said that, I bought dd some lovely dresses in the summer sale last year, and they are gorgeous thick fabric and feel value for money.

Definately complain to Johnnie. May get some money back or vouchers....
Also, if more people let him know the quality is not up to scratch boden should react.

Let Boden know, they do seem to actually listen to thier customers. A friend had the same complaint about one of their summer dresses a few years ago. I've been buying more Gap recently, as the quality is just so excellent.
