Looking at the 'fun' midsleepers, like the ones in argos wiht slide or the mothercare one with a lovely house tent. is there any reason why na dult could sleep on it?

no, shouldnt think so. they are standard single bed size, usually.

free mattress that comes with them is not really up to the job for an adult - not really good enough for DS any more, we need to upgrade - I would factor in the cost of a decent mattress too!

Can't get my arse down dd's slide or up the ladder. So not OK for lard arse adults

just got ds one, don't see any reason an adult couldn't sleep on one, so long as they can get up the steps!

DH & I crash out on DS1's Argos mid-sleeper all the time-With DS - NOT TOGETHER! The matress that came with it was rubbish so we bought a new one. I don't fancy sleeping in a house tent, though!

DD1 has just got the house mid sleeper. I can only just get my fat arse through the ladder gap onto the bed! I want the double metal high sleeper argos do!

this is DD's one

DS's is from Argos too but it does seem really wobbly when I get on it and I worry about it breaking (I'm not especially large but still concerned about it.) Do they ever give a weigth limit? My concern is partly because DH once got into DS's cot bed and broke the slats. He's a bit on the large side though....
