Looking for some advice please.
Having just found a perfect car that fits three car seats in the back (number 3 due any day) we have taken our car to a local dealer to sell. All was fine with valuation etc but they have now come back and said there is a milage issue showing up during the HPI check.
They have advised that a previous owner (only had been 1 prior to us buying it from a garage) must have input the milage incorrectly at some point which is now flagging up the issue.
I have the service book and MOT records showing consistent milage per year since 2012 and will send these away to the HPI people but was hoping for positive outcomes from people who may have experienced this before and managed to sort out the error?
The dealer will not complete the purchase until the HPI is showing as clear.
