They're supposed to be miracle workers - anyone got a pair?

Yup, got the trainers and the sandals. Love them. Great to walk in (takes a bit of getting used to and if you're tallish like me you end up a bit Amazonian) and I do think they have an effect. I mostly got them as I heard they help with circulation in the legs but the leg-trimming thing is good too. I definitely feel them working my calves. What you must remember is that you have to walk the way you are taught to walk in them in order for them to have a real benefit - it's about using the whole foot and pulling your tummy in while you walk. It would be a waste of money to buy them and just to expect to walk around in an average way while the flab drops off!

I've also got a pair of the trainers and I'm so glad you've posted this as you've reminded me about them and I shall get them out to wear tomorrow. (they went away when the really nice weather came and I was wearing strappy sandals instead but as it looks like our summer is over, they can come back out again!)

Hi bun. I've got a pair and they're fab. I walk the dog on the beach in them and you can feel your buns (no pun intended) tightening. They do take a bit of getting used to though and I did get a few Spice Girl comments when I first wore them!

Do the flat ones work as well as the spice girl ones?

bun, I was told that the flatter ones are better to start with but that you can build up to using the higher ones. However, my friend went straight for teh higher ones and doesn't seem to be ahving any problem with them.
