Buying a pram in the US??

We are travelling to New York in April, and wondetring whether we might get a better deal on a pram out there. Has anyone done this. know anything about it??

We've found our chosen pram/buggy ( mountain buggy 3 wheeler) On a us web site, quite a bit cheaper, dp has done research so sorry cant be more specific, think it's about £150 less... It would work out the same if you had to have it posted but as you'll be there,do it! Oh and if your flying you should get a bag for it - worthwhile apparently as they may get bits knocked off or ripped in the hold...
