i've been to all the obvious sites (it has taken practically the whole evening - gah!), have found a set of three wicker boxes at argos, and some jute soft boxes at blooming marvellous... but am very unimpressed with the choice... just hoping you may have the perfect source up your sleeve!

thanks in advance, i have gone nesting crazy!

Dare I say - have you tried Ikea? Not a trip or the faint hearted (or probably the heavily pregnant either!) but they do have a selection at reasonable prices. I have lots from there!

Also have a FAB rattan storage bench from Lakeland which fits perfectly in my bathroom. Maybe they have baskets too?

Ikea's Branas baskets (on P2) come in a 33h 35d 33w version.

I've used the Cotswold Co and they've been fine, even when something needed to be returned. I'd happily use them again. I guess it must depend on who you get when you phone up, lol!

soupie, it is a good thing they have put a emoticon on here, for alas i must now come clean as to why i posted this in the first place...

i know about those baskets because when we went to ikea last week dh told me they would be exactly the right size but i said, oh no they don't look right, only to find when we got home that of course they were exactly the right size...

so now i have been trying to find something similar on-line because (a) you're right, ikea is not the the day out for the heavily pg woman and (b) i doubt if i will persuade dh to go again any time soon....

thanks anyway!

also, i am grateful for the other suggestions as we will need loads more toy/clothes storage in any event...

Hehehe !

SoupDragon · 18/07/2004 23:17

Whereabouts are you? I never need much of an excuse to go to Ikea...

sis · 18/07/2004 23:29

Are these the ones you are after?

SoupDragon · 19/07/2004 00:03

Those baskets on ebay cost less than £3 in the store!!!

serenequeen · 19/07/2004 06:05

just to end the nail-biting suspense...

my df came up trumps and found the baskets at ikea after a number of trips to brent park - bless him. they are perfect for the spaces.

dh has not reproached me once

thanks for all the suggestions - still need some big toy boxes, so will be checking out these options then.
