have been invited to a virgin vie party tomorrow night. Is it worth taking my credit card?

I use it a lot and I really like their stuff. I use the make up a lot. Suits my skin - it can be quite sensitive and never had any problems with the Virgin Vie stuff. They now do a range of costume jewelery as well which looks nice.

I am having a VV party next month - my SIL has just started doing parties so said I would do one for her.

their lip gloss is nice. i think the powder foundation thingy is a best seller but it gave me spots. their bath products are very gorgeous.

I use their all in one face base. It's brilliant. I have oily skin and this gives a lovely matt finish all day. (I sound like an advert!) I really like Virgin Vie make up. Definitely take your credit card

Hulababy · 28/03/2007 17:55

The one step face base is what I use most of it.

I have had 6 pieces of jewellery from VV and 5 have broken (and I'm really not that clumsy, honest!)

brimfull · 28/03/2007 17:59

I see from their website they also do a touche eclat type concealer...only much cheaper .

I've got several friends who have had bad reactions to their skin products

When I'm in the UK I use their Vit C facial routine - I really like it.

Its probably too late but I will give my tuppence anyway.
I used to be a sales rep. I thought the make up was good value and quality as were the make up brushes. Skin care seemed distinctly average for the price. Body care, well I probably was in the wrong job but I don't understand spending #10.00 each on bubble bath and body lotion.

well just back from the party, only had the makeup there, but I ordered the one step face base. But worse of all .....I have been cajoled into booking a party..aaargh!

i was a manager for 3 years, loves the products, earned lots of cash and got some amazing prizes and made some fab friends. I left when ds was at school as there is not much you can do during the day, and dd was due. I think their jewelley is expensive tat, but their skincare, cosmetics and bath and body stuff is great. They are also selling homeware shortly They also give you 30 days to decide whether you like the stuff or not, and you can have a full refund

allieBongo · 28/03/2007 22:21

my typing and grammar are crap this evening.

brimfull · 28/03/2007 22:23

oooh she never mentioned the 30day thing...does that include makeup?

allieBongo · 28/03/2007 22:24

everything. you can use it, and if you react to it or simply don't like it you can exchange or have you money back. i am really tempted to go back, I just think the jewels suck
