IKEA flatpacks, love 'em or hate 'em?

I love love love making flatpacks! Am I weird?

ikea are dead easy compared to some

DH thinks I am weird. According to him there is a special room in hell where he would have to do nothing but assemble IKEA flatpacks.

As you say, they're like jigsaws.

My grandfather was a woodwork teacher so it might be in my genes as well.

I love love love it when DH makes up my new flatpack stuff - like my new desk (inwardly punching the air at getting my own study btw!)

Quite, Nailpolish. They seem to want to go together and the bits are usually all there.

Love them too. Last week bought the trofast frame and shelf which goes on diktad changing unit. Spent a lovely evening with bottle of wine putting them together. I quite practical though.
DH made the tea and did the dishes

Love them too. DH always leaves them to me as well. If DH does them they fall apart in a matter of days!!

So it's not just me then

I did a baby table and chairs for dd the other day - she can now say 'flatpack', 'screwdriver' and 'Allen key'.
