Has anyone tried these baby neck rings?

I saw them on TV but wondering if they're safe. I read they're meant to have health benefits?

They look like a death trap to me but I'm willing to be told otherwise.

I had to do some research - this professional body thinks they are a bad idea.

Shock

Are they real?

I've seen them before. I wouldn't use one. They just don't look safe to me.

I used one it was great helped ds with reflux and colic. I would stress though it is NOT a float you still need to be right there with eyes on every second. I fear people may think babies are safe to be left because they have a float but ds could flip round by 4 months then we moved to a seat.

I feel cautious about recommending incase babies are left unattended or even just out of reach (i kept my hands at ds sides) but it really did help ds a lot.

Wait a minute, in the article it says that parents put their babies into these rings and then sit and watch them float around AT THE POOLSIDE?! WTAF?!
