Night lights

Can anyone recommend a night light which I can plug into a socket. My 3 year old sleeps without a light, but I want to put one on the landing for her so she can find her way from her bed to the toilet as I want to get her out of night time nappies. The light needs to be bright enough for her to see, but I don't want to spend a fortune.

not sure if bright enough but we use the ones from homebase (own brand) a bluish tinge. I found that they are bright enough to see dd when she is asleep.

We leave the hall light on all night (it's a low-energy bulb) and that lights up the landing - could you do that? Or you could leave the bathroom light on. The plug-in things are very dim.
